If you’ve created a general discount campaign with Discounty but noticed that some or all of your products aren’t discounted even though the campaign is active, follow these steps to identify and resolve common issues.

1. Ensure products are published on online store and active.

First, verify that the products you want to discount are published in your online store and are active. Discounty only applies discounts to products that meet these conditions.

If not, deactivate your Discounty campaign, activate and publish the products in your online store, and then reactivate the Discounty campaign.

2. Discounts are applied initially but disappear later.

If your discounts are applied when you first create the campaign but disappear after a while, another app may be updating your product prices. This is often the case with inventory management apps. Verify if you have any other apps that access and update product information, as they could be changing the price and compare-at price of the products and overriding Discounty’s discounts.

3. Discount is not visible on European countries.

If your primary market isn't in the EEA, but you use International to sell products to customers in the EEA, then compare-at prices for these customers are hidden by default. You can choose to display compare-at prices from the International section of your Shopify admin.

You can choose to display compare-at prices from the Shopify Markets admin.

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Markets.

  2. Click Preferences.

  3. Deselect the Hide compare-at prices for European Economic Area (EEA) customers.

  4. Click Save.

Learn more about EEA rules.

4. Discounts not applied in certain markets.

If discounts appear in some markets but not in others, check if the prices in those markets are set as fixed prices. Discounty doesn’t apply discounts on fixed-priced products. Make sure your product prices in those markets aren’t set to fixed values.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve most issues related to missing discounts. If the problem persists, feel free to reach out to our support team for further assistance!
