Will a product be discounted twice if it is in two Discounty campaigns?

No. By default, a product will only be discounted by one campaign — the one that started first. If another campaign includes the same product, it will be automatically removed from that campaign when it starts, even if it matches the filters.

If you want to apply both discounts, you can combine Discounty campaigns together. Learn more.

How long does it take for a campaign to become active or inactive?

The time it takes for a campaign to activate or deactivate depends on how many product variants are included. On average, Discounty processes 10 variants per second.

If I add a new product to my store or a collection with an active campaign, will it be automatically discounted?

It depends on whether the following setting is enabled in your campaign configuration:

Auto-update the campaign's products when items are added or removed from your store

  • If enabled: New products added to your store or to a relevant collection will be automatically included in the active campaign and receive the discount.

  • If disabled: You’ll need to manually deactivate and reactivate the campaign for the new products to be included and discounted.

Please note that the auto-update process may take a few hours (typically up to 2 hours) to take effect.

What happens if I remove a product from a collection in an active campaign?

It depends on whether the following setting is enabled in your campaign configuration:

Auto-update the campaign's products when items are added or removed from your store

  • If enabled: When a product is removed from a collection that’s part of an active campaign, it will automatically be excluded and its price will revert to the original value.

  • If disabled: You'll need to manually deactivate and reactivate the campaign to ensure the discount is removed from the product.

Please note that the auto-update process may take a few hours (typically up to 2 hours) to take effect.
