  • When can I edit a campaign?

You can edit campaign with expired, scheduled, and needs upgrade statuses. However, active campaigns cannot be edited. Additionally, campaigns cannot be edited while they are in processing or operating modes.

  • What should I do if I want to edit an active campaign?

Active campaigns cannot be edited directly. If you need to make changes to an active campaign, you should follow these steps:

  1. Deactivate the active campaign.

  2. Make the necessary modifications to the campaign.

  3. Save changes.

  4. Activate the campaign again to apply the updated changes.

  • If a product is included in two campaigns, will it be discounted twice?

No, by default, the product will only be discounted by one campaign, specifically the one that started first. When the second campaign begins, the product will be automatically removed from it, even if it meets the product filters set for that campaign.

If you want the product to be discounted in both campaigns, you should 'combine' two campaigns with each other. Learn more

  • How long does it take for a campaign to become active or inactive?

Approximately 10 variants per second.

The duration for a campaign to activate or deactivate depends on the number of variants associated with its products. When a campaign starts, it systematically updates each variant individually to apply the specified discount to its price. Similarly, when a campaign is deactivated, it updates each variant individually to revert them to their original price. Based on the limitations imposed by the Shopify API, these updates typically take approximately 10 variants per second.

  • If I add a new product to my store or a collection that has an active campaign, will it be automatically discounted?

If the "automatically update" option is enabled in the campaign configurations, any new products added to the store or collection included in the active campaign will be automatically included in the campaign and receive the designated discount.

However, if the "automatically update" option is not selected, you will need to manually deactivate the campaign and reactivate it to ensure that the newly added products receive the appropriate discount.

  • If I remove a product from a collection that has an active campaign, will its price be automatically reverted to its original price?

If the "automatically update" option is enabled in the campaign configurations, when you remove a product from a collection that is part of an active campaign, the product will be automatically removed from the campaign. As a result, the price of the removed product will be reverted back to its original price.

However, if the "automatically update" option is not selected, you will need to manually deactivate the campaign and reactivate it to ensure that the discounts are removed from the products that have been removed from the collection.
